This tour includes a visit to Murchison Falls National Park-Uganda’s largest conservation area, through Gulu to Kidepo National Park. Despite being Uganda’s most isolated national park, Kidepo Valley ranks among Africa’s finest wilderness. It lies in the rugged, semi-arid valleys between Uganda’s boarders with Sudan & Kenya. It has a profusion of big games and hosts over 77 mammal species as well as a round 475 bird species.

Day 1. Arrival in Uganda

Welcome to Uganda. On arrival at Entebbe international airport for your amazing Ugandan safari vacation, you will be met by your guide who will then transfer you to a hotel in Kampala for a night. Accommodation: Four-Star Hotel on Bed & Breakfast (Option to upgrade to a five-star hotel)

Day 2. Rest and Recuperation

Spend your the day at the hotel recouping from the jet lag and the general flight fatigue. In the evening you will be taken to Ndeere cultural center for a traditional cultural immersion musical entertainment before retiring to your hotel for another night in Kampala. Accommodation: Four-Star Hotel on Bed & Breakfast (Option to upgrade to a five-star hotel)

Day 3. To Kidepo Valley National Park

After an early breakfast you will be driven to the Airstrip (Kajansi-Entebbe) for a two hour flight to Lomei Airstrip, Kidepo National Park. Upon arrival at the park, check-in at your lodge and shortly after lunch have an afternoon Game Drive that will take you through the Narus Valley to see herds of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras and hopefully some lions, leopard and the elusive cheetah. This will also enable you to be in full view of varieties of birds as well. Stops will be made for your photo opportunities of the fabulous wildlife and birds along the way. Return to the lodge at leisure, night here. Accommodation: Three-Star Lodge on Full Board (Option to upgrade to a five-star lodge)

Day 4. In Kidepo Valley National Park

After an early morning breakfast, embark on a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring, where a variety of animals and birds can be seen roving around like the fast running Ostrich. Take a nature walk to view a variety of fauna and flora species in the park. Return to your lodge for lunch and a rest. In the evening, go for a cultural tour in the Karimajong community. Here you will spend a wonderful evening with the Karamojong people and have an insight of their way of life and beliefs. At the end of the tour you will be able to understand why their pride makes them slow to adapt to globalization. Return to your lodge for the night.

Day 5. Departure

After breakfast, check-out of the lodge and transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Kajjansi, and later transfer to Entebbe international airport for your flight back home.
