Day 1. ARRIVAL IN ENTEBBE.
You I’ll be welcomed at the airport in Entebbe and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. Overnight at Hotel Olympia.
Day 2. TRANSFER TO THE RWENZORI REGION.
After breakfast we leave the bustling capital city and drive towards the peaceful, calm town of Fort Portal (4hours drive). Check in at your accommodation with the splendid view at Mountains of the Moon hotel. Here you I’ll enjoy lunch before u visit Toro Botanical Gardens, at a walking distance of your guesthouse. Enjoy a guided walk through the garden full of colorful flowers and medicinal plants while you look for the rich bird life. Later the afternoon return for dinner and overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel.
Day 3. CRATER LAKE EXPEDITION.
A full day to enjoy the natural beauty of the crater lakes area. Explore the numerous clear lakes, surrounded by gentle hills, and hike to the Top of the World. Enjoy the breathtaking view at the green surroundings, the majestic mountains and even the wide Savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Walk to the hidden Mahomah Falls while you experience the daily life from firsthand. Take time to meet the inhabitants as you pass their small villages and learn about the local crops that are cultivated here. Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the Moon hotel.
Day 4. FOOTHILLS OF THE RWENZORI.
Today you I’ll be able to enjoy the beauty of the mountains of the moon in ts full glory. Enjoy a guided nature walk at the foothills and learn about the local culture firsthand. Enjoy the scenic views, have a glimpse of the village life and visit a traditional witchdoctor at his home. We I’ll make a stop at the Amabere Caves. Discover the small hidden waterfall as we enter the cave and admire the stalagmites, stalactites and pillars. Adventurous hikers can even hike over the Rwenzori mountains to Bundibugyo but this requests a good physical condition. Aculture evening is awaiting you after this Impressive day with traditional dances and songs. Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the Moon hotel.
Day 5. TROPICAL RAINFOREST AND SWAMPS.
We I’ll leave fort portal and head to kibale forest. Stop at the charming village Bigodi for a traditional meal at a local house. In the afternoon enjoy the Bigodi swamp walk. This is an initiative of the local community and supports the local community projects. The swamp is often referred to as the “Home of the Great – Blue – Turacos” and is known for ts rich diversity of birds and primates. In the evening turn to your accommodation
You can either choose a home stay at a local family or spend the night in the comforts of the African jungle at Primate Lodge Kibale.
Day 6. CHIMP TRACKING.
The forest opens ts doors for a sensational chimp tracking. Kibale forest is reputable of having the greatest variety and concentration of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a a guided walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzees, red tailed monkeys and many others. After a hearty picnic lunch we transfer to Bigodi swamp for another totally different walk. Dinner and overnight at Primate lodge Kibale.
Day 7. RETURN TO KAMPALA.
In the morning we say goodbye to one of the most beautiful regions in Uganda. We start our journey back to kampala. With packed lunch. After arrival at your accommodation in the capital city, spend the afternoon relaxing and reflecting your unforgettable experiences.
Day 8. DEPARTURE.
We I’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight to Nairobi Kenya,where our driver guide will pick you from the airport and drive you to your reserved hotel for dinner and over night
Day 9: Full day game drive in Masai Mara.
Today we all have to get ready with our cameras fully charged and every equipment required for the best wildlife viewing ever on the land of the Masai and you may choose to fly in the hot air balloon aboue the Masai Land and view the wildlife above them (Optional with an extra cost). This adventure is one of the most charming experience where you get to view animals in abundance with which includes, buffalos, elephants, lions, antelopes, wildebeests, zebra and many more. We will have our lunch in the bush and proceed with our exploration in the Masai land, we will interact with the masai tribe learning about their way of life, culture dance and dramas. Later in the evening we will go back to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Masai Mara national reserve / Lake Naivasha.
Morning breakfast at our hotel plus checking out, and then head to Lake Naivasha where you will have to discover thousands of flamingos. We will have our lunch on our way to Lake Naivasha. And after lunch we will head to Hell’s gate where we will see the active hot and cold springs which were formed by volcanic eruption. And later in the evening we will got to our reserved place of accommodation where we will dinner and overnight.
Day 11: The Green Crater Lake Walk.
After breakfast at around 7:00 am our guide will drive us to the road heading Green Crater Lakes you out of Naivasha and a long a rough and bumpy road down the shores of Naivasha, moving through big Greenhouses where the grow rose flowers and other flowers for export and we will arrive to the Green Crater Lakes within one and half hours. These Green Crater Lakes were formed as a result of Volcanicity.
Along the walk you get a chance to get exposed to giraffes, antelopes, bird species, rocks formed in the process of volcanic eruption and others where you have the best photo shots. And the guide will answer all your questions you got. And we will have our lunch at carnelley’s camp and later we head down to Lake Naivasha where we will enjoy activities like power boat on the lake and cycling around the villages.
Dinner and overnight at our reserved place of accommodation.
Day 12: Bye Kenya.
Today it’s a relaxing day from the long day of wildlife exploration. Depending on your flight you will have enough time to rest before our driver guide drops you off to the airport for your flight.
