Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania.
Our driver guide will pick from Julius Nyerere international airport and take you to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park.
Today after breakfast get ready for the best of Serengeti national park game drives ever, the guide chooses the best spots for viewing animals and take pictures. And you will get a chance to view the big five with the mass migration of the hundreds of thousands of wildebeests to and from Kenya land in Masai Mara. This migration happens in the small rains of October and November. And return back to north-western part of serengeti in heavy rains of April, May and June. There is much more to watch than just wildebeests, and this include lions waiting to prey on wildebeests, crocodiles, Zebras and many more. And we will have Bush lunch then proceed with our game viewing and later in the evening we will be heading back to our place of accommodation where we will have dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Ngorongoro crater-Karatu.
Early morning after breakfast we wil depart for Ngorongoro crater passing through Olduvai Gorge. The Ngorongoro crater is one inspiring volcanic crater covering over 20 km with around 600m walls. This is one of the breathtaking experiences you will find with plenty of wildlife brought the ever available water in the crater. The Olduvai Gorge was hyped by the discovery of 3.5-million-year-old relic remains of human civilization back in the day. And we will have our lunch in the neighborhood hotel overseeing the crater. And later in the afternoon we will stay in the crater discovering and learning history of the gorge.
And later in the evening we will drive back to our reserved hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4. BYE TANZANIA / ARRIVAL IN ENTEBBE.
Today we will visit a few communities before we sent off for our flight to Uganda. After arriving at Entebbe International airport our driver guide will pic you and drive you to your hotel in Kampala. Overnight at Hotel Olympia.
Day 5. TRANSFER TO THE RWENZORI REGION.
After breakfast we leave the bustling capital city and drive towards the peaceful, calm town of Fort Portal (4hours drive). Check in at your accommodation with the splendid view at Mountains of the Moon hotel. Here you I’ll enjoy lunch before u visit Toro Botanical Gardens, at a walking distance of your guesthouse. Enjoy a guided walk through the garden full of colorful flowers and medicinal plants while you look for the rich bird life. Later the afternoon return for dinner and overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel.
Day 6. CRATER LAKE EXPEDITION.
A full day to enjoy the natural beauty of the crater lakes area. Explore the numerous clear lakes, surrounded by gentle hills, and hike to the Top of the World. Enjoy the breathtaking view at the green surroundings, the majestic mountains and even the wide Savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Walk to the hidden Mahomah Falls while you experience the daily life from firsthand. Take time to meet the inhabitants as you pass their small villages and learn about the local crops that are cultivated here. Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the Moon hotel.
Day 7. FOOTHILLS OF THE RWENZORI.
Today you I’ll be able to enjoy the beauty of the mountains of the moon in ts full glory. Enjoy a guided nature walk at the foothills and learn about the local culture firsthand. Enjoy the scenic views, have a glimpse of the village life and visit a traditional witchdoctor at his home. We I’ll make a stop at the Amabere Caves. Discover the small hidden waterfall as we enter the cave and admire the stalagmites, stalactites and pillars. Adventurous hikers can even hike over the Rwenzori mountains to Bundibugyo but this requests a good physical condition. Aculture evening is awaiting you after this Impressive day with traditional dances and songs. Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the Moon hotel.
Day 8. TROPICAL RAINFOREST AND SWAMPS.
We I’ll leave fort portal and head to kibale forest. Stop at the charming village Bigodi for a traditional meal at a local house. In the afternoon enjoy the Bigodi swamp walk. This is an initiative of the local community and supports the local community projects. The swamp is often referred to as the “Home of the Great – Blue – Turacos” and is known for ts rich diversity of birds and primates. In the evening turn to your accommodation
You can either choose a home stay at a local family or spend the night in the comforts of the African jungle at Primate Lodge Kibale.
Day 9. CHIMP TRACKING.
The forest opens ts doors for a sensational chimp tracking. Kibale forest is reputable of having the greatest variety and concentration of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a a guided walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzees, red tailed monkeys and many others. After a hearty picnic lunch we transfer to Bigodi swamp for another totally different walk. Dinner and overnight at Primate lodge Kibale.
Day 10. RETURN TO KAMPALA.
In the morning we say goodbye to one of the most beautiful regions in Uganda. We start our journey back to kampala. With packed lunch. After arrival at your accommodation in the capital city, spend the afternoon relaxing and reflecting your unforgettable experiences.
Day 11. DEPARTURE.
Today we may opt to visit a few places in Kampala, like Namugongo shrines, independence monument, Kasubi tombs depending on our flight depature time. And later our driver guide will drop you off to airport for your flight back home. Hope you an amazing trip and we are looking forward to hosting you again.
